Moon is void-of-course for much of the day that will bring feelings of unease and restlessness, pushing us off-balance. When Moon pounces on Leo this afternoon, we are asked to perform due diligence and an intense process of review in advance of Friday’s New Moon.
Our recent success in fortifying our self-esteem and feelings of self-worth will be tested today as we strive to find stability and permanence. We must ask ourselves, then, if there’s any such thing as stability or permanence in our lives. Demand for some misguided need for “perfection” has us questioning our actions and methods, even if we understand that the landscape around us is in continual flux and change.
There’s a much-anticipated New Moon at 6° Virgo, on Friday, joining Mars, the planet of strength and courage. With Mercury and Venus also near to the Moon during this event, we are better able to be in touch with our passions and desires, and share them.
This New Moon is the best moon phase in a very long time for starting something new or reenergizing something. It is especially good for romance so you could find your true soul mate or reinvigorate a marriage or relationship. The new moon is in good aspect to Uranus which adds excitement and positive change.
A new moon represents the end of one cycle and the beginning of another new 28-day cycle. Sun conjunct Moon gives an invigorating burst of energy and initiative. So this is an excellent time for making a fresh start, turning over a new leaf, or starting a new project. You can also question old habits, behaviors, and beliefs as you search for new and inventive ways to make progress.
