Bat spirit | You are tuned in to the Universe.

Bat’s internal radar is exceptionally attuned—is yours? Because Bat medicine is the medicine of transformation, he is asking you to re-examine your life to determine (using all of your senses) what is worth keeping and what needs to be discarded. For every death there is a rebirth and Bat is here to help you decide what goes and what stays.

Bats emerge at night because their eyesight is not well developed. However, this means their remaining senses are well-honed and they can navigate their way through the world thanks to their intuition. These animals warn you when a major change is coming and ask you not to resist. In the end, this shift will help you find your true purpose in life.

The bat has different meanings. It is trying to warn you about a meaningful change that will soon come into your life. Specifically, the bat asks you to pay attention to your surroundings, especially if you tend to overlook them. These impulses can be physical, mental, or emotional in the form of intuitions or hunches. The bat symbolizes the death of a part of your ego that no longer serves your true purpose, inviting you to leave a space for a new dimension to emerge.

It is time to act differently, follow your intuition, get out of the beaten path, and reinvent yourself. The more you embrace this new destiny, the more the Universe will support you and make it easier for you to navigate changes. The bat can also mean that you should not stop pursuing your spiritual development. Don’t be distracted by the whims of your ego. Listen to your inner self and follow your higher calling. Consider if it is time to renew your thoughts and beliefs for ones that allow for personal growth. The bat also reminds you to stay in the present and don’t let your fears and anxieties get the better of you. By doing so, the answers will come to you more clearly. The only thing you have to fear is fear itself.

Bats are very intuitive creatures that are highly aware of their surroundings. They can see through people’s illusions and intentions and are very gifted. These animals are keenly perceptive of situations and people. Bats feel content when they can make others happy. These animals are not afraid of change. They trust their intuition and resilience. Bats renew themselves every night when they go out to look for food accompanied by the moonlight. Bats are excellent communicators. They are among the most vocal mammals and produce calls to mate, find a fellow bat, or defend themselves from enemies. These calls have a very low frequency and can travel long distances. Also, these animals sleep and give birth hanging upside down, which demonstrates their enormous strength and endurance to see things from another perspective.

The Queen of Pentacles card depicts a beautiful woman sitting on a decorated throne holding a golden coin. Surrounding her are beautiful blossoming trees and green floral gardens. Her throne is decorated with various beasts of the earth, tying her closely with nature and abundance. At the bottom of the card, on the right-hand side, a rabbit is pouncing into the frame, which symbolizes her high energy and fertility. The Queen of Pentacles, therefore, depicts a certain level of success and prosperity. But the rabbit at the bottom cautions us that we should be careful of where we leap when we are chasing that success.

The Queen of Pentacles represents both a down-to-earth woman who plays many roles to ensure that she keeps her family happy. She knows how and when to show love – keeping an orderly home, cooking comforting meals and takes care of the children. But do not mistake her for being only a homebody – alongside all these motherly attributes, she can plan business ventures and execute her plans successfully. It is through her naturally talented business sense that she is surrounded by such luxury. She is quiet and does not like disclosing her financial accounts, fearing that it could bring more complexity to her life, which she desires to keep rather simple. She may have a secret bank account that nobody knows about – for she may choose to be careful, vigilant and self-sufficient.

But do not mistake her for being only a homebody – alongside all these motherly attributes, she can plan business ventures and execute her plans successfully.

The Queen of Pentacles therefore represents a motherly figure who desires to help you maneuver your way and achieve your goals with a the helping of her common sense. She will not only show you love, but she will also show you the way forward whenever you seem to be stranded and confused. With her advice, she will ensure that you do not make dangerous financial decisions. She offers you precautions, principles and support, all lessons that she has learned in her personal life. Because she is a self-made woman, she wants too for you to be independent and wise, such that you are also able to raise others and make them responsible.

FRI DECEMBER 23rd: New Moon in Capricorn. You might have a strong need for being useful to society and you look for justification in the outside world. You may underestimate what you want from yourself and for yourself. Shyness may be accompanied by resentment of the fact that others ignore you. Do not seek approval from the outside, it will not help you get rid of your doubt and it is harmful to you. You have to trust your inner values.

THU – FRI DECEMBER 29-30th: First Quarter Moon in Aries. The feeling of uncertainty can make you solve problems faster than is natural. Do not rush as if there was a deadline. Try to slow down so that you can decide what you want to do and proceed at your own comfortable pace.

On the 20th, Jupiter enters Aries. Jupiter first entered Aries on May 10th, but after turning retrograde on July 28th, it returned to Pisces on October 28th. Now, Jupiter re-enters Aries, where it will stay until May 16th, 2023. This transit encourages us to embrace our enterprising spirit and independence.

With Jupiter in Aries, we make our own opportunities, and we thrive when we take the lead, initiate, inspire others, and demonstrate enthusiasm and courage. Prosperous areas are ones that allow us to head and lead, and to innovate. Faith in ourselves can bring about positive circumstances or good luck.

Faith in our ability to reinvent our lives and to move forward with confidence in spite of challenges we may be leaving behind is strong during this cycle. We believe that “life is what you make it,” and we enjoy competition as it pushes us to do better. Our belief in ourselves brings a spirit of the pioneer. We live in the “now” and quickly seize opportunities. However, we should watch for taking any of these things too far, a me-first attitude that can be insensitive, failing to consider others’ viewpoints and leaving opportunities behind as a result, over-confidence, not learning from past mistakes, and a lack of objectivity.

Chiron turns direct on December 23rd after retrograde motion since July 19th. Emotional truths about matters we’ve been avoiding or confused about begin to emerge now and in the coming weeks. While not always comfortable revelations, they can serve to motivate us to take appropriate action.

Also on December 23rd, the New Moon occurs in the sign of Capricorn, stirring a new beginning. We recognize that having some boundaries and rules in place frees us up to enjoy ourselves as we meet our responsibilities. This lunation offers us the opportunity to set practical, attainable goals and work on developing maturity, self-discipline, and common sense. We’re prompted to consider and prepare for the future.

Jupiter forms a semi-square Uranus on December 23rd. This is the final of three transits, with the other two perfections on May 11th and September 28th. This transit is a minor but longer-term aspect. We can feel a little restless, wanting to grow, improve, and innovate, but we’re not necessarily focused. We could find it difficult to agree with others, or it’s hard to find common ground. We need to be willing to make changes in our lives now, or change will come in perhaps unwanted forms. This is a rebellious, restless influence, and we should avoid random moves. It’s best to tap into areas that may need some attention and improvement. We might open ourselves up to new ways of thinking, but we could also too easily avoid taking responsibility for things that truly matter. While watching for impractical ventures and unusual tangents with weak staying power, we should connect with our desire to innovate.

On December 29th, Mercury turns retrograde in the sign of Capricorn, and it will continue its retrograde journey until January 18th. Some delays or information clogs are possible. With Mercury retrograde in Capricorn for the whole cycle, we may have little tolerance for small talk and tend to express ourselves after much deliberation. Plans may be considered then reconsidered. We are in a good position to reevaluate professional or life path plans and goals. It’s also a fine time to explore what ambition or our reputation means to us.
