DAILY ANIMAL SPIRIT
Horse spirit | Get out of the rut.

When Horse came back to the Americas, he brought with him the ability to move rapidly from place to place—and it’s this rapid movement that he brings to you today. Get up, get out of the rut you’ve created. Grab Horse’s mane, pull yourself onto his back and let him carry you across the plains of your life. The time for being stuck is over.

Love for freedom is the most prominent personality trait that people with horse spirit possess. This beautiful creature is all about leaping through the boundaries, exploring the spaces freely, and overcoming obstacles at ease. They do not fear failure and are eager to take on every upcoming challenge. Horse spirit symbolizes the soul without restriction, continuously evolving, getting stronger and stronger. Character development is something they thrive towards. Also, the horse as an animal guardian is mostly associated with courageous nature. They are very fearless and optimistic about different life experiences. Losing equals life lessons for them, and they never get the failure to shape them in an unwanted way. In many cultures, horses were considered life-worthy wisdom that was very precious and practical at the same time. How to navigate during hard times, avoid giving up in certain circumstances, and survive on your own – was the embodiment of the sacral knowledge that the horse spirit represented.

Horse spirit is very daring. They are very free-spirited, so they do not enjoy being framed or constrained by beliefs or social ideals. They have their ways of fulfilling their aspirations and confronting other people if they feel the slightest pressure from them – is a very casual thing for a horse spirit animal. Being expressive about inner desires and views comes in very handy for a person with a horse spirit animal. In different cultures, the horse was always represented as a rebellious, strong deity, that guarded the people who worshipped its energy.

DAILY ORACLE CARD
IV | 4 OF CUPS

The Four of Cups displays a young man sitting under a tree on a mountaintop, far from others. He seems to be in contemplation and meditation. In front of him are three cups laying on the grass while another cup is being offered to him by a hand in the air. The man has crossed his hand and legs, and he is looking down at the three cups, unimpressed, such that he cannot see the cup being presented to him by the stretched arm.

The Four of Cups represents our tendency to take for granted the things that we have, making it hard for us to see what treasures the universe presents us with. We tend to have the answers to our troubles right around us, but we tend to focus too much on what we do not have.

The Four of Cups tend to appear when you are feeling discouraged and unmotivated. You may feel as if there is no solution or way forward in your situation. Life has become stagnant, and nothing seems to make you happy or passionate. You are feeling apathetic – regardless of what happens, whether the day is good or bad, none of it matters to you. The Four of Cups commands a self-evaluation of your attitude so that you can pull yourself out of this rut. The solution is likely right in front of you, the hand is offering you a way out, but you release yourself out of your mental stubbornness and deploy new approach.

You are feeling apathetic – regardless of what happens, whether the day is good or bad, none of it matters to you.

You must search your motives, instincts and thoughts so that you can find your passion again. The Four of Cups revolves around finding your true interests and working towards fulfilling them. Our lives are short, and sometimes monotonous, but we must create meaning for ourselves. Our individual callings are not just there for us to find, but to decide and to imagine.

DECEMBER 2022 LUNAR CALENDAR

FRI DECEMBER 16th: Last Quarter Moon in Virgo. Your feeling of safety is now related to order and clarity, even in emotions. You may have the need to organize everything chaotic and disorganized. Try being more tolerant and accepting the imperfections of life. It is better to trust life and let it run its own way, not everything must be according to our expectations.

FRI DECEMBER 23rd: New Moon in Capricorn. You might have a strong need for being useful to society and you look for justification in the outside world. You may underestimate what you want from yourself and for yourself. Shyness may be accompanied by resentment of the fact that others ignore you. Do not seek approval from the outside, it will not help you get rid of your doubt and it is harmful to you. You have to trust your inner values.

THU – FRI DECEMBER 29-30th: First Quarter Moon in Aries. The feeling of uncertainty can make you solve problems faster than is natural. Do not rush as if there was a deadline. Try to slow down so that you can decide what you want to do and proceed at your own comfortable pace.

DECEMBER 2022 ASTROLOGICAL CALENDAR

On the 20th, Jupiter enters Aries. Jupiter first entered Aries on May 10th, but after turning retrograde on July 28th, it returned to Pisces on October 28th. Now, Jupiter re-enters Aries, where it will stay until May 16th, 2023. This transit encourages us to embrace our enterprising spirit and independence.

With Jupiter in Aries, we make our own opportunities, and we thrive when we take the lead, initiate, inspire others, and demonstrate enthusiasm and courage. Prosperous areas are ones that allow us to head and lead, and to innovate. Faith in ourselves can bring about positive circumstances or good luck.

Faith in our ability to reinvent our lives and to move forward with confidence in spite of challenges we may be leaving behind is strong during this cycle. We believe that “life is what you make it,” and we enjoy competition as it pushes us to do better. Our belief in ourselves brings a spirit of the pioneer. We live in the “now” and quickly seize opportunities. However, we should watch for taking any of these things too far, a me-first attitude that can be insensitive, failing to consider others’ viewpoints and leaving opportunities behind as a result, over-confidence, not learning from past mistakes, and a lack of objectivity.

Chiron turns direct on December 23rd after retrograde motion since July 19th. Emotional truths about matters we’ve been avoiding or confused about begin to emerge now and in the coming weeks. While not always comfortable revelations, they can serve to motivate us to take appropriate action.

Also on December 23rd, the New Moon occurs in the sign of Capricorn, stirring a new beginning. We recognize that having some boundaries and rules in place frees us up to enjoy ourselves as we meet our responsibilities. This lunation offers us the opportunity to set practical, attainable goals and work on developing maturity, self-discipline, and common sense. We’re prompted to consider and prepare for the future.

Jupiter forms a semi-square Uranus on December 23rd. This is the final of three transits, with the other two perfections on May 11th and September 28th. This transit is a minor but longer-term aspect. We can feel a little restless, wanting to grow, improve, and innovate, but we’re not necessarily focused. We could find it difficult to agree with others, or it’s hard to find common ground. We need to be willing to make changes in our lives now, or change will come in perhaps unwanted forms. This is a rebellious, restless influence, and we should avoid random moves. It’s best to tap into areas that may need some attention and improvement. We might open ourselves up to new ways of thinking, but we could also too easily avoid taking responsibility for things that truly matter. While watching for impractical ventures and unusual tangents with weak staying power, we should connect with our desire to innovate.

On December 29th, Mercury turns retrograde in the sign of Capricorn, and it will continue its retrograde journey until January 18th. Some delays or information clogs are possible. With Mercury retrograde in Capricorn for the whole cycle, we may have little tolerance for small talk and tend to express ourselves after much deliberation. Plans may be considered then reconsidered. We are in a good position to reevaluate professional or life path plans and goals. It’s also a fine time to explore what ambition or our reputation means to us.
