DAILY ANIMAL SPIRIT
Moose spirit | You are powerful beyond belief.
Moose represents incredible strength and longevity, as well as the ability to see the future. Moose antlers are among the largest of the antlered animals, and are like psychic antennae—giving Moose amazingly developed hearing, smell, and depth perception. Moose is bellowing at you to open your third eye and stop pretending that you don’t know what’s about to happen.
Moose is the largest deer species in the world. They are peaceful animals and rarely become aggressive. Despite being large, they are adept swimmers. They can swim several miles and even remain submerged underwater for more than 30 seconds. Due to their heavy and large body structure, they can’t bend enough to eat grasses, hence, they survive on the leaves, twigs, barks, stems, shrubs, etc. Moose create the most beautiful picturesque winter moments to capture. The wide and flat antlers of the moose provide them with an aesthetic look that makes any shot the perfect one. If you find many similarities between your personality and the moose, you could be the moose-spirited individual. As spirit animals, they can connect with you through nature, dreams, TV shows, documentaries, pictures, objects, or your surroundings. Pay close attention if you feel your spirit guide is trying to communicate with you.
The moose symbolizes power, courage, authority, and self-confidence. Because of its intimidating size, the animal is not afraid of any other creatures. They are calm, composed, and graceful. The walk of moose signifies pure poise and sensitivity. At times, Moose can be a bit clumsy but they are active on the other hand. It symbolizes the fact that you need to withdraw sometimes to revive your energy and focus on your inner strength. Moose provides you courage, agility, and movement. You strive to be independent and truthful. It enables you to create a positive impact on society. It elevates your self-esteem and provides the momentum to achieve anything you have set your heart upon. The moose reminds you not to impose unhealthy criticism on yourself and belittle your capabilities. You should always value your individuality and integrity. Moose tells you it’s time to explore new depths of awareness, wisdom, and opportunities. Moose are mainly recognized by their huge antlers. Many folklores believe that the antlers are used to connect with the energy of the Universe. Due to this, they possess a sense to perceive things that can’t be seen through naked eyes. You may have the same intuition to feel and discern things that many others may not identify. You may also understand what’s going on inside a person’s mind by observing them deeply.
DAILY ORACLE CARD
X. WHEEL OF FORTUNE
The Wheel of Fortune is one of the most highly symbolic cards in the deck, filled with signs that each have its own meaning. At the center of the card, lies a giant wheel, covered in esoteric symbols. There are different creatures that surround the wheel; the angel, the eagle, the bull and the lion. They are related to four fixed signs in the zodiac – leo, taurus, scorpio and aquarius. These four animals are also representatives for the four evangelists in Christian traditions, which is perhaps the reason that they are all adorned with wings.
The books that each of the creatures hold represents the Torah which communicates wisdom and self-understanding. The snake indicates the act of descending into material world. On the wheel itself, rides a sphinx that sits at the top, and what appears to be either a devil, or Anubis himself arising at the bottom. These two Egyptian figures are representative of both the wisdom of the gods and kings (in the case of the sphinx) and the underworld (Anubis). They are rotating forever, in a cycle, and suggests that as one comes up, the other goes down.
The Wheel of Fortune turns evermore, seemingly to communicate that life is made up of both good and bad times, and that the cycle is one that we cannot control. It is something that is subjected to both kings and workers, and that nobody on earth can avoid what is fated. When you have good moments in your life, make sure that you enjoy to the fullest, for what comes up must always go down. The same is true in reverse – when you are in a bad situation, things will eventually become better again.
The same forces that govern the changing of the seasons, or the rising and setting of the sun is also the master of luck and the fate of individuals.
Greater forces that are outside of human control are at work here. The same forces that govern the changing of the seasons, or the rising and setting of the sun is also the master of luck and the fate of individuals. Where it lands is as random as chance – you may find yourself at either the top or bottom, but remember that no matter what the outcome it may not last for very long, for the wheel always turns.
DECEMBER 2022 LUNAR CALENDAR
THU DECEMBER 8th: Full Moon in Gemini. Moon in Gemini manifests itself through the need for changes and spontaneity. Safety lies in thinking about your feelings and sharing them with others. You can be more talkative and speak with ease these days. You might have a better ability to keep a cool head, but beware, a cold heart can discourage others. Harmony of thinking and feeling is important.
FRI DECEMBER 16th: Last Quarter Moon in Virgo. Your feeling of safety is now related to order and clarity, even in emotions. You may have the need to organize everything chaotic and disorganized. Try being more tolerant and accepting the imperfections of life. It is better to trust life and let it run its own way, not everything must be according to our expectations.
FRI DECEMBER 23rd: New Moon in Capricorn. You might have a strong need for being useful to society and you look for justification in the outside world. You may underestimate what you want from yourself and for yourself. Shyness may be accompanied by resentment of the fact that others ignore you. Do not seek approval from the outside, it will not help you get rid of your doubt and it is harmful to you. You have to trust your inner values.
THU – FRI DECEMBER 29-30th: First Quarter Moon in Aries. The feeling of uncertainty can make you solve problems faster than is natural. Do not rush as if there was a deadline. Try to slow down so that you can decide what you want to do and proceed at your own comfortable pace.
DECEMBER 2022 ASTROLOGICAL CALENDAR
On December 7th, a Full Moon occurs in the sign of Gemini. This lunation can bring sudden awareness to our lives and a rather urgent “need to know.” We may want to get an important message across, finish a communications project, or make an announcement. Travel and communications are in strong focus. The Moon aligns with retrograde Mars around the time of this Full Moon, and it can be an especially revealing time as it’s likely to pull up unrest, resentment, and buried frustrations. We should watch for too-quick decisions and actions while paying close attention to what illuminates.
On the 20th, Jupiter enters Aries. Jupiter first entered Aries on May 10th, but after turning retrograde on July 28th, it returned to Pisces on October 28th. Now, Jupiter re-enters Aries, where it will stay until May 16th, 2023. This transit encourages us to embrace our enterprising spirit and independence.
With Jupiter in Aries, we make our own opportunities, and we thrive when we take the lead, initiate, inspire others, and demonstrate enthusiasm and courage. Prosperous areas are ones that allow us to head and lead, and to innovate. Faith in ourselves can bring about positive circumstances or good luck.
Faith in our ability to reinvent our lives and to move forward with confidence in spite of challenges we may be leaving behind is strong during this cycle. We believe that “life is what you make it,” and we enjoy competition as it pushes us to do better. Our belief in ourselves brings a spirit of the pioneer. We live in the “now” and quickly seize opportunities. However, we should watch for taking any of these things too far, a me-first attitude that can be insensitive, failing to consider others’ viewpoints and leaving opportunities behind as a result, over-confidence, not learning from past mistakes, and a lack of objectivity.
Chiron turns direct on December 23rd after retrograde motion since July 19th. Emotional truths about matters we’ve been avoiding or confused about begin to emerge now and in the coming weeks. While not always comfortable revelations, they can serve to motivate us to take appropriate action.
Also on December 23rd, the New Moon occurs in the sign of Capricorn, stirring a new beginning. We recognize that having some boundaries and rules in place frees us up to enjoy ourselves as we meet our responsibilities. This lunation offers us the opportunity to set practical, attainable goals and work on developing maturity, self-discipline, and common sense. We’re prompted to consider and prepare for the future.
Jupiter forms a semi-square Uranus on December 23rd. This is the final of three transits, with the other two perfections on May 11th and September 28th. This transit is a minor but longer-term aspect. We can feel a little restless, wanting to grow, improve, and innovate, but we’re not necessarily focused. We could find it difficult to agree with others, or it’s hard to find common ground. We need to be willing to make changes in our lives now, or change will come in perhaps unwanted forms. This is a rebellious, restless influence, and we should avoid random moves. It’s best to tap into areas that may need some attention and improvement. We might open ourselves up to new ways of thinking, but we could also too easily avoid taking responsibility for things that truly matter. While watching for impractical ventures and unusual tangents with weak staying power, we should connect with our desire to innovate.
On December 29th, Mercury turns retrograde in the sign of Capricorn, and it will continue its retrograde journey until January 18th. Some delays or information clogs are possible. With Mercury retrograde in Capricorn for the whole cycle, we may have little tolerance for small talk and tend to express ourselves after much deliberation. Plans may be considered then reconsidered. We are in a good position to reevaluate professional or life path plans and goals. It’s also a fine time to explore what ambition or our reputation means to us.
