Mars shares a minor connection with Jupiter, which can give us a lot of energy to move toward our latest dream. When Mars and Jupiter connect, even in a minor aspect, we expect that the world will become our oyster and every possibility will be open to us. Everything could feel limitless in the morning.

However, the energy shifts when Mars and Neptune square off in the afternoon. Unfortunately, this could leave you feeling like you can’t take any action, as fear and trepidation runs through your head. Paranoia could reach an extreme, motivating you to stand still and wait for more information before taking action.

The caveat is that even though the morning gave us such high hopes, and we want to move forward with our plans and dreams, the cosmos is telling us that today is not the right time. Rather than allow yourself to feel stuck between a rock and a hard place, you can make a list of the goals you want to reach in the next few days. The dream isn’t over. It’s just on pause.

Today’s Mars-Neptune square may find us tilting at windmills. Alternatively, we may be desperately looking for some kind of switch that will turn off the fog machine of delusion and overly optimistic idealism so that we can actually get down to business. While there is some truly inspiring creative potential available here, there is also a great deal of potential for disappointment and disillusion. We may be shocked, upset, or even frightened when a balloon of inflated optimism is suddenly burst. But we may also finally begin to find a way to take the bull by the horns and begin to make true progress. In some sense or another, we begin to see that many of the obstacles we have been fighting against have actually been in our heads and have kept us from seeing what is actually in front of us to deal with.
