The first new moon of 2022 occurs today in Capricorn. This luminary aligns with Venus retrograde and Pluto, both of which are in Capricorn, meaning it’s a period of growth.

The caveat is that we might be distracted by the lower vibration of Pluto, which includes jealousy and drama. The reason we’re feeling these sentiments is simple: No one likes change. It’s hard, and we don’t like being pushed out of our comfort zone.

However, the time has come for us to face up to it. Today is a powerful day for manifesting. You can bring your dreams to life if you choose to lean into the positive energy of the new year. After all, how often do we experience a new moon at the very beginning of the year?
