Today brings many elements of surprise as the Scorpio moon opposes Uranus in the delectable sign of Taurus. This could cause some upheaval on numerous levels, especially in relationships.
The theme of the day is partnerships and those who mirror us on a soul level. The Scorpion commands us to dive deep into our psychological wounds and purge them to transcend and heal. There is a sense of being supported on an emotional level despite how vulnerable the healing process might make us feel. You are not alone even if it seems that way at times.
The square between Saturn in Aquarius and the Scorpio moon could bring some challenges that require careful analysis. In fact, you might be too hard on yourself these days, especially as trickster Mercury encourages you to weigh every situation, making it tough to make a final decision.
Remember that you know what’s best for you! Especially as the magnetic sextile between the Capricorn sun and Scorpio moon kicks up the dust and sends you in a totally different direction.
Finally, Jupiter in Pisces aspects the moon as well, so be prepared for some unexpected news and surprises that have you jumping almost instantaneously into new experiences.
This morning’s Mercury-Venus conjunction is especially significant since Mercury is moving into retrograde territory — the shadow of the next retrograde Mercury that will occur from January 14th until February 3. Since Venus is currently retrograde, this conjunction does not provide any of the expected charm and easy-going amiability we might hope for. Rather, we begin to feel or see in others, a rather skeptical attitude. However, the skepticism is likely to be gentle enough to encourage us to take a hard look at the building, optimistic idealism. With self-control and patience, we can begin learn a great deal about the challenges we will be facing in the coming months as we begin to rebuild foundations and restructure our lives within an entirely new environment and framework.

2022 LUNAR CALENDAR

JAN 2: NEW MOON IN CAPRICORN: You might have a strong need for being useful to the society and you look for justification in the outside world. You may underestimate what you want from yourself and for yourself. Shyness may be accompanied by resentment of the fact that others ignore you. Do not seek approval from the outside, it will not help you get rid of your doubt and it is harmful to you. You have to trust your inner values.
JAN 9: FIRST QUARTER MOON IN ARIES: The feeling of uncertainty can make you solve problems faster then is natural. Do not rush as if there was a deadline. Try to slow down so that you can decide what you want to do and proceed at your own comfortable pace.
JAN 17: FULL MOON IN CANCER: Your feeling of safety is now related to your home, family and related activities such as cooking and gardening. You may be prone to emotional fluctuations; you should learn to forgive and forget in order to avoid depression from thinking too much about things. Your perception of the world can be very subjective; try to create a certain distance without being bitter. Due to your rich emotional manifestation you can create a real sense of belonging in the world.
JAN 25: LAST QUARTER MOON IN SCORPIO: Moon in Scorpio creates the need to delve into your feelings as deep as possible. You desire meaningful emotional exchanges now more than at any other time even if it is not easy and you are forced to change many things. Shallow relationships do not satisfy you, because they are not purifying enough.
DAILY ORACLE

If you’re feeling nervous and wobbly, stop worrying about the past and the future. Instead, be present in the moment, balancing, for now is the space in which creativity arises. Creativity is your birthright, but if you’re moving too quickly in an attempt to avoid the discomfort of transition, you can blind yourself to the miraculous possibilities that are before you now and those just coming into being.
The past has its lessons and planning has its merits, but right now you may be imbalanced because you’re becoming too nostalgic for what once was or too anxious about what the future might hold.
There is time to plan carefully. For now, be still and know that Spirit is here, co-creating with you in this moment. The next step will appear when it needs to appear. Relax into a state of equanimity and balance, so any anxiety can transmute into trust and faith that all will be as it will for the highest good.
