Today’s Leo moon sets off the Saturn and Uranus square that has been a major aspect throughout 2021, occurring on February 17 and June 14. Today also sets the stage for the third square that occurs on December 24.

When the moon and Uranus square off, as they do today, it creates an erratic emotional energy. They are both in fixed signs, which causes a tug-of-war between what can grow and evolve and what has to remain the same. Uranus wants to change sentiments with the times, while the Leo moon wants to steer the course it’s been on for some time. Therefore, the square between these two creates a roller coaster of excitement, which can lead to shake-ups, breakups, meltdowns, and tears.

When Saturn comes into the mix and opposes the moon, this is when our emotional nature is asked to do more work. The only problem is that we might not be ready to put in the effort the cosmos is demanding of us. If you can evolve, this is a great day to move forward. For most of us, however, it will be a time when we feel stuck in the mud, emotionally speaking.

Now that we have clearly recognized the need to encase our ideas, our beliefs, our message within some kind of protective shell, our ability to feel safe is increasing. Our impatience can be controlled by the awareness that we must find a way to make our ideas meaningful to those around us — which is where our focus shifts today. Whether through charm or clever rhetoric, we turn our attention to controlling our message and carefully laying groundwork. There is a kind of split focus between our inner machinations and our outer presentation. This is definitely an environment where our performance is of paramount importance. Of course, some will manage this pressure better than others.

Do not seek approval from the outside, it will not help you get rid of your doubt and it is harmful to you. You have to trust your inner values.

JAN 9: FIRST QUARTER MOON IN ARIES: The feeling of uncertainty can make you solve problems faster then is natural. Do not rush as if there was a deadline. Try to slow down so that you can decide what you want to do and proceed at your own comfortable pace.

JAN 17: FULL MOON IN CANCER: Your feeling of safety is now related to your home, family and related activities such as cooking and gardening. You may be prone to emotional fluctuations; you should learn to forgive and forget in order to avoid depression from thinking too much about things. Your perception of the world can be very subjective; try to create a certain distance without being bitter. Due to your rich emotional manifestation you can create a real sense of belonging in the world.

JAN 25: LAST QUARTER MOON IN SCORPIO: Moon in Scorpio creates the need to delve into your feelings as deep as possible. You desire meaningful emotional exchanges now more than at any other time even if it is not easy and you are forced to change many things. Shallow relationships do not satisfy you, because they are not purifying enough.
