Venus, the planet of love and money, entered bighearted, flamboyant Leo last night. For the next few weeks we can expect big declarations of love and a desire to make major purchases.
The only caution is that Saturn retrograde in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus can heighten insecurity while making relationships and money matters more erratic. One day you have a full bank account and the next you don’t.
The same applies to romantic situations. You might be overprotective of a significant other and want them to remain loyal at all costs. The issue is that this can be seen as controlling or dominating. The reason you may act this way is that you’re tired of being disappointed. You wear your heart on your sleeve and have gotten burned in the past. You’re learning to let go and heal your heart simultaneously, which is why you’re acting this way.
In order to care for someone in a healthier way, it’s important to give them their space and let them enjoy their freedom. You can’t hold someone romantically hostage. Venus in Leo is big on trust, so this will be a lesson during this transit, especially when healing centaur Chiron, currently in Aries, comes along to mend your heart.
The Moon goes void-of-course a little after noon today, leaving us with a few too many ideas to sort through. We will likely need to find a way to step back and adopt a cautious approach until there is more definitive information available. As we work our way through the waning phase of this lunar cycle, we should remember that Mercury is in the post-retrograde shadow. We are just beginning to unwind some of the significant confusion produced by the previous retrograde Mercury and still need patience in order to effectively step through the debris and finally begin to draw productive conclusions.
