The Moon goes briefly void-of-course this morning before arriving in Scorpio at 9:18 AM PDT, ahead of this evening’s Scorpio Full Moon (8:31 PM PDT 7° Scorpio/Taurus). The midday Moon-Mars trine stirs a bit of rebellious independence and encourages a search for deeper truths, seeking to go beneath superficial explanations. The light from this evening’s Full Moon is bound to reveal some uncomfortable reality and expose any attempts to gloss over any discrepancies. However, even with the exposure, our tendency is to stay more or less unflappable, and deliberate as we process the new information.
This is a Scorpio supermoon, called that because the moon is extremely close to Earth. This means that we feel things more deeply than would be the case during a regular full moon.
During a full moon, the sun opposes the moon, allowing us to see situations and relationships more clearly as the moon powerfully illuminates our planet. We begin to take notice of matters that were previously swept under the rug, particularly those relating to emotions and sentiments.
This supermoon aspects Mars and Uranus, making us feel as though we need to take action immediately. Your eyes are opening. You are seeing matters and people for who and what they truly are. We want to transform the path we’re on while we move toward our dreams. You won’t want to give up. In fact, you could push even harder to make it happen.
Remember that all things come to those who wait. Don’t give up on your vision because it has been delayed or you encounter a setback. If you feel like throwing your hands in the air and taking a break from a project, friendship, or professional endeavor, then give yourself a moment to regroup. The energy is intense today. It could make you feel like moving in a different direction, but fear might be holding you back. Don’t let it!

It’s time to let go.
Have you been relentless in your efforts to revive something that has passed its prime and needs to die away—a situation, a relationship, a belief, or a habit that served you once but no longer fills you with vitality? Perhaps you automatically expect to see the world through a specific lens based on the familiar?
Groundhog Spirit has appeared to let you know it’s time to accept that the past is the past, so allow yourself to feel the loss and grieve it if you need to. Any sadness will not last forever or overwhelm you. Knowing Spirit is with you and wants you to experience joy and excitement again will help you through this transition from the old to the new.
Keep your eyes open, for winter always gives way to spring and endings always give birth to beginnings. For now, let yourself feel your emotions, releasing them to make way for the joy that awaits you. Spring and new growth are on their way, for that is Spirit’s promise to you.
