The sun and Mercury enters Taurus and slows things down significantly. Today is a good day to sit back and take it all in. If the weather permits, connect with the earth today. This can be as simple as touching a plant, buying a new plant, or walking barefoot in the grass in the park.
Taurus energy is ruled by the planet Venus, so now is the time to focus on what makes you feel good. Tend to your environment by engaging your senses. Go to the grocery store and stock up on green foods, spices, and sweets. Taurus loves anything aromatic and anything that makes you feel fulfilled. Think about the scents, tastes, touch, and emotions that make you feel comfortable and complete and indulge where you can.
Mercury in Taurus makes us more considerate and persistent in our actions. Your thoughts could take a turn toward long-term stability and foundational energy, and you may become more self-aware as a result. Even if you don’t get it all figured out today, you can put a pin in it and come back to it tomorrow. There is no rush now.
This is even a good time to indulge in some heathy nostalgia. Phone a friend you haven’t talked to in a while and reminisce. Sweet feelings of love and bliss offer an excellent way to end the day and solidify your bonds with those you love.
We find improving appreciation for consolidation and general stabilization today, rather than any lingering discomfort surrounding the change of pace we are experiencing. However, some of us may still feel the need for some ego bolstering and repair. Consolidation of our gains may actually require us to dispense with some loose ends that no longer seem viable. There is an increasing desire for independence and freedom that may create some friction — especially if any of our pet projects are put on the chopping block in the name of said ‘consolidation’. Focusing on creative solutions is where we can make the most progress today, hopefully allowing us to set aside any stubborn desire for personal recognition or approval.
