The Moon is void-of-course for most of the day today, from 6:27 AM PDT until 8:25 PM PDT. There is little success found by anyone seeking to throw their weight around or put on some kind of demonstrative show. Self-indulgence and a lack of determination is likely to keep us hamstrung. Nonetheless, there is likely to be a building sense of power and energy that will begin to emerge once the Moon arrives in Virgo this evening. Self-discipline and self-control become especially important heading into next Sunday’s Full Moon (11:48 AM PDT 8° Libra/Aries).

When the moon opposes Jupiter this morning, we’re likely to struggle with self-control and making a spectacle of ourselves. If you can keep yourself from performing way over the top, you might just succeed in conveying how generous and kindhearted you truly are.

This is a favorable time to tell someone how you feel about them or let someone know more clearly what your expectations are of them. Everything in moderation, though. Someone could see your kindness as weakness and take advantage of you. You need to walk a fine line between overbearing and overly involved because any false move could be perceived as an open invitation. Play it cool and everything will be fine.

The moon enters Virgo tonight, so one of the temptations could be to poke holes in others’ beliefs that we find ridiculous or untrue. Keep your opinions to yourself right now. It won’t do any good to argue about this today. Also be careful about telling yourself a negative narrative. That way of thinking will be very hard to avoid. However, show people they can count on you and you’ll earn points with them that will last long into the future.

It may start out as an ordinary day but a situation may arise that uncovers talents that you had no clue you had. Be adaptable and be willing to say, “Yes, I’ll give that a try,” rather than automatically saying, “Well I’m not sure. I’ve never done that before.” Be positive, optimistic, and sure of yourself. It’s the perfect day to learn something useful and profitable as well as exciting.
