The Moon’s trines to Saturn, Mercury, and Jupiter today bring a welcome opening for valuable progress, both in our ability to commit emotionally to a course of action and also in our willingness to cooperate and receive input from others. There is plenty of input and give-and-take for effective planning and expansion. However, we are likely to see at least a few surprising opinions or attitudes surface over the course of the day that could lead to some shakeups or unexpected shifts in our overall course. Under the waning Moon, we should be somewhat cautious about veering too far away from any already established course of action. This may become a fine line to walk, between carefully modulating our approach and suddenly heading off in a completely new direction — which isn’t likely to be a very good idea.
THE WEEK AHEAD: The flurry of intensity from last week’s Full Moon begins to wane this week and we may find that we have a great deal of propensity to drift or veer — or both — this week. We are dealing with the added awareness provided by last week’s first of three exact Saturn-Uranus squares, which is slowing us down and demanding that we check and test our every move towards a better future. Although we come into this week with some degree of commitment and determination, new elements are bound to arise that need to be further examined and may very well serve to inform our planning and approach. Mercury returns to make a final conjunction with Jupiter, expanding our perspectives but also potential inflating our expectations. We begin to open up to possibilities of better cooperation and new alliances. Some new alliances may actually be born out of conflict. We can begin to see beyond our differences (although we may not actually resolve them) and find areas of common purpose. However, this may also lead us to raise our expectations a bit too high or fall back into some kind of complacent belief that we have made more progress than we actually have. As well, an expanded sense of possibility may lead us to divert too much attention to unworkable schemes and ideas, rather than staying focused on the Big Picture goals that have been a bit more carefully planned and thought through. The arrival of Mars in Gemini on Thursday, tends to sharpen our tongues and may also lead to increasing impulsiveness and impatience. In essence, it may be very easy to become impatient with the pace of our progress, engaging in power plays, harsh words, and reckless actions. If we find some way to quiet our minds enough, we are likely to find that there are indeed some further elements to consider, some new lessons to learn, or some other reason why this week’s seemly slow pace is actually a benefit. The challenge may be to avoid creating any wreckage through harsh words, or wasting too much time veering off-course in pursuit of wildly over-optimistic potentials that will never materialize.
The Libra Moon on Sunday leads to some general wavering of our commitments and some attempts to please others rather than follow our individual course. We should be careful to avoid being stampeded into unwise actions. Surprising opinions may surface on Monday. There is some temptation to veer off course and find ourselves heading in an entirely new directions. We should be careful to keep our eye on our past plans and be sure that we aren’t falling down a rabbit hole of unpredictable outcomes. We may find ourselves dealing with a significant amount of impatience on Tuesday. Our ideas may find a skeptical audience that leaves us feeling misunderstood or restricted. Intuition blossoms on Wednesday. We find ways to see past conflicts in order to build new alliances. However, we should guard against complacency. Power plays and uncomfortable revelations create a complicated environment on Thursday. The Mercury-Jupiter conjunction could lead to some reckless over-optimism that will need to eventually be unwound. We are prone to pushing too hard on Friday and we may see some reckless outbursts with Mars newly arrived in Gemini. The pace of progress and change may not seem to be fast enough but if we can quiet our minds, we will find that there are plenty of details that still need our attention. The void-of-course Moon for much of the day on Saturday leads to a significant amount of drift but there is a slowly dawning recognition that new ideas are beginning to shift our trajectory significantly.
