We could start the day experiencing some slight feelings of loneliness or gloom for something we can’t quite put our finger on. And trying to share how you’re feeling with anyone who can help could be even more confounding.

Be careful not to make others feel worse just to make yourself feel better. The level of self-pity you’ll likely be feeling may affect your judgment in the things you say or do now. With Venus conjoining Pluto, your instinct could be to ask for help and ask for the nurturing that you feel you need at this time, but that isn’t advisable now. Don’t turn to resentment or jealousy either.

We also have a moon-Uranus square this morning, which is going to make everyone just one notch more irritable than usual, so don’t say or do anything that you might later come to regret, and definitely don’t betray anyone, which is a real threat when we’re in this type of erratic mood.

Since you’ll be easily entertained by anything that isn’t too serious, the best thing for today is to find a distraction and avoid serious topics or work if possible. Make a day of it, which shouldn’t be too difficult with this transit because you’re likely to be easily occupied by the next shiny object you see. Just remember not to do anything you’ll regret later.

Today’s Leo Full Moon brings forth a tremendous burst of Heart-Centered awareness that is both compassionate and empowering. However, in this atmosphere, we find extremely potent challenges to our beliefs about ourselves and the world around us. We begin to separate from the ideal of ourselves and — with awareness and luck — begin to love and appreciate the reality rather than the ideal. The Sun’s conjunction with Jupiter at this Full Moon (opposing the Sun-ruled Leo Moon), is both expansive and challenging. The tight square to Mars may produce extremes in self-indulgence and impulsiveness. However, this culmination point of the current lunar cycle also offers expansive awareness and the opportunity to turn a corner and come to base our belief structures in tangible facts and set aside some unattainable, Utopian ideals. The is not likely to be a lightening-like, sudden insight but rather, a growing awareness that it is finally time to get real.
