SATURDAY, 11/14/2020: The challenge we face under this evening’s Scorpio New Moon (9:07 PM PST 23° Scorpio) is to bring together a myriad of diverse perspectives into a cohesive and pertinent new vision. As Mercury approaches another opposition to Uranus, we may be inclined to ignore the views of others to our detriment. We also face a tendency to abandon our heritage and traditions without carefully sifting through the wreckage to salvage what is of value in our past. Although we may feel a great deal of inspiration today, we should not fall into the trap of believing that all we need is this inspiration. The need for steady cooperative effort is especially important under this New Moon. We need to honor our past and honor the perspectives of others while maintaining the determination to feed our own perspective ‘into the pipeline’ of broader understanding. The opportunities for careful planning and undertaking new initiatives are finally offered to us here. But we need to be careful in organizing our approach, humble in our willingness to honor the perspectives from our past, and diligent in our intention to listen to the input of those around us.

SUNDAY, 11/15/2020: Skepticism tempers the optimism of today’s Sagittarius Moon. However, the overall atmosphere pushes us towards compassion for the plight of others and a genuine awareness that every voice has value and should be heard. Nonetheless, we may still find ourselves tempted to make overly optimistic pronouncements and push our ideas and beliefs further than we should. There are few apparent guidelines to follow here, leaving each individual to find balance and clarity through awareness and intuition. Jupiter’s conjunction with Pallas helps us to avoid becoming wasteful and should allow us to find a philosophical approach that keeps us from veering too far into anything too fantastical in to our optimism.
Mars retrograde is finally over! Mars entered its pre-retrograde zone on July 25th before commencing its backward spin on September 9th in Aries. Mars officially ended its moonwalk on November 13th and will be running through its retroshade degrees until January 2nd in Aries.
From November 13th to January 2nd, you’ll be revisiting arguments, situations, and relationships in an effort to make amends and move forward (once again) with those you care about.
