SATURDAY, 10/10/2020: As we emerge from the second Mars-Pluto square, the power of Saturn to enforce protocol and procedure takes center stage today. As the intensity of emotion begins to wane, a strict sense of propriety and enforced standards takes over to steady our course. For some, this may seem too restrictive and entirely unacceptable, while others will be at least a bit reassured by the return of some sense of order. In this atmosphere, however, we are more comfortable in openly taking an independent stand since the push back is not as likely to be ‘over-the-top’ as it may have seemed over the past few days. This is an interesting day that brings cosmic relief to personal frustrations. The influence of the Cancer last quarter moon also opposes the prolific energy of both Pluto and Saturn in Capricorn, adding perspective to the overall power dynamic in your life. Think of this as a reset button requiring you to grin and bear it.

A loving trine between Venus in diligent Virgo and Uranus in insightful Taurus softens some of these harsher connections. Paying attention to your personal care routines and feeling more confident in your own skin is what it’s all about right now. Maybe you’ve been neglecting the things that you really love to do just trying to navigate through the twists and turns of late.

Romance and fun can be part of the day as well. You’ll feel increased vitality and confidence overall. Someone might even profess their undying love for you, with the influence of Uranus adding a little icing on the cake. You might not want deal with anyone who brings you down, and for good reason.

The Cancer moon enters a void-of-course phase around midday, asking you to let your troubles be for now. It’s not like that door won’t get opened at some point! It’s a really good day to schedule some “me” time—and even a therapy sesh, just to get everything all out in the open. SUNDAY, 10/11/2020: There is quite a bit going on today. The activity may seem to increase the imperative to take some kind of active stand. However, today really represents an important opportunity to take a step back and reassess both our direction and our progress. The waning Moon in Leo may encourage ego concerns to outweigh the need for cooperation and compromise. The forming Sun-Mars opposition may bring impulsive attempts to challenge authority with little foundational support. Rather than focusing on ‘action steps’, we’ll do better to give our intuition and imagination extra space to visualize a new way forward. Friday’s Libra New Moon (12:30 PM PDT 23° Libra) will provide extra space to form new alliances and build more effective communication than we may be finding today.

Today the Libra Sun begins a weeklong series of testing aspects. First up is a square to Jupiter this morning. The configuration raises hopes and dreams of travel adventures and inspires some folks to live up to their ideals. Others are inclined to exaggerate or make empty promises. The Leo Moon is at odds with Uranus and Mercury. Indecision can bedevil minds or change attitudes in unexpected ways. This afternoon many people feel humbled in the face of uncontrollable events. Fortuitously, Jupiter is also nearing an exact sextile with Neptune. Dreams are persuasive. Imagination is irrepressible. The urge to serve and help people becomes an overriding theme tonight.
