There’s a strong feeling of harmony, with a gorgeous trine from the sun in Libra and the Aquarius moon bringing many gifts of happiness and community. You might even be able to express the things you’ve been holding back over the last few days. There’s an ease of mind that’s quite refreshing. You’re now able to work around your problems and see the loftier side of the lesson.

Remember that everything represents duality in some way. You have much to appreciate right now, whether you’re taking the good with the bad, or understanding that the shadow side also has its lessons.

You might even strengthen your sense of connection to a wider group of like-minded individuals who also see the world through a more spiritual perspective, so be open to the people you meet online or through messages. Under these transits, secret admirers can come out of the woodwork with little or no warning!

There are tremendous pitfalls associated with putting too much pressure on ourselves today. Ambition and recognition are dangerous distractions that keep us from recognizing the true progress that we are making. Taking the line of least resistance may have us feeling as though we are somehow slacking but concern over the judgements of others will keep us from recognizing our true responsibilities to ourselves. Today’s Aquarius Moon makes a freeing square to Uranus which helps us to break free of the expectations of others. What we often forget is that when we are concerned over the expectations of others, we are sacrificing our own abilities and desires.

SUNDAY, 9/27/2020: Mercury arrives in Scorpio this morning in an atmosphere that demands interaction with others — whether we like it or not. In some way or another, we are challenged to describe our vision to others in order to gain approval, appreciation, or acquiescence. There are few choices except to keep trying to explain where we’re going. Mercury in Scorpio does give us extra determination to keep investigating, keep talking, keep trying to explain. In general, we would rather just withdraw or regroup in order to rethink our message. However, we don’t seem to have that option.Mercury enters Scorpio today, and in the weeks ahead, our thoughts and conversations are probing and intense.

While Mercury in Libra urged us to find balance and arrive at reasonable solutions, Mercury in Scorpio instinctively knows that life isn’t always fair and adjusts accordingly. Mercury in Scorpio seeks truths in all things hidden or undercover. It’s a time to probe, investigate, observe, and focus. Looking for motivations–the more deeply buried, the better–satisfies an intellectual need now. We throw away superficial manners of communicating in favor of deep conversations. Scorpio is exceptionally sharp, profound, and analytical. Thinking tends to be one-track minded and perhaps obsessive. Mercury usually spends about three weeks in a sign.

However, due to its upcoming retrograde cycle (from October 13th to November 3rd), Mercury spends more time than usual in Scorpio: from September 27-October 27, and then from November 10-December 1. The Moon spends today in the sign of detached, objective, and reasonable Aquarius.
