Our curiosity continues to propel us towards gathering new information today. The forming Mercury-Pluto trine encourages us to delve deeply into whatever has captured our minds and imagination. Tomorrow’s Pisces Full Moon (10:21 PM PDT 10° Pisces/Virgo), in a tight sextile to Uranus, will offer a tangible platform for displaying our insights but today we are less interested in display and more interested in following through on our discovery process. Collaboration and teamwork will significantly help us to sort through our discoveries and somehow connect the dots in meaningful ways. Hunches and intuitive insights offer remarkable progress here.

THE WEEK AHEAD: Last week’s stresses, engendered by the first of three exact Mars-Saturn squares, reach a peak under Tuesday’s Pisces Full Moon (10:21 PM PDT 10° Pisces/Virgo). We are helped to ease those stresses by the activity of Mercury, encouraging us to open new lines of communication and investigate or discover new pieces of information. Mercury begins the week with an opposition to Neptune, softening some of the impatience of Mars in Aries. Subsequently, Mercury, in trines to both Pluto and Saturn, works as something like a conflict resolution negotiator to gather information and build effective lines of communication between the restrictions of Saturn and the independent, aggressive action of Mars. Even so, we are still likely to experience intense waves of impatience throughout the week. What is required is flexibility, compromise, and adaptability. There are, in fact, marvelous creative resolutions to be found this week. At times, the pressure itself may actually help to facilitate a search for innovative solutions to what may seem to be completely intractable issues. The asteroids Vesta and Juno also play an important role this week. Vesta squares Uranus, setting up a conflict between our independence and our need for a secure position from which we can express ourselves. Juno makes a challenging square to Saturn, which may lead us to believe that we need to place restrictions on others or have us becoming intensely protective of our individual position. The overall effect of the Pisces Full Moon this week brings a level of sensitivity, intuition and compassion to what is otherwise and tremendously challenging standoff between independent action and restrictive entrenchment.

We may feel a bit shy or cautious on Sunday but, nonetheless, we seek to expand the boundaries of our awareness by breaking free of traditional ideas and approaches. Curiosity continues to propel us forward on Monday. We are even more committed to delving deeply into intriguing and innovative new ideas and solutions. The Pisces Full Moon on Tuesday offers us a platform to display the information we have discovered. We may not actually realize the power and importance of that information and elicit very strong response when we share our discoveries. Mercury’s trine to Saturn on Wednesday, brings in a welcome conflict resolution negotiator to help sort out the conflicts between our demand for independence and stern restrictions. Compromise and adaptability are very important. The Aries Moon on Thursday stirs impatience but the increased pressure may produce surprising resolutions. Friday’s Venus-Mercury sextile keeps the lines of communication open but new restrictions may surface. Some may back down a bit on Saturday, allowing so solutions to surface. We can more easily recognize the value of bending before we break.
