The Moon is void-of-course for much of the day today, from 4:19 AM PDT until 4:35 PM PDT. Our efforts to communicate effectively breaks down and leaves us prone to exaggeration, rather than articulating any sort of practical vision. We aren’t inclined to venture far outside of our comfort zone or work on building alliances. Today’s pull-back is almost certainly temporary and we will gain a new impetus once we reach next Tuesday’s New Moon (7:41 PM PDT 26° Leo) which is quincunx Saturn. There will be more stabilizing ideas for structure once we gain the new impetus from the New Moon.

The moon in Gemini syncs up with the north node this morning, providing an opportunity for growth and spiritual evolution. Gemini energy is an information sponge, and you can process ideas from multiple perspectives before coming to your own conclusion. You’ll be able to perceive things from a new point of view, which should give you some deep insights on how to move forward.

The only catch is that the moon does form a quincunx with Pluto and Saturn, which will remind you that transformation is hard work that can throw you out of your comfort zone. As you analyze your path forward, try not to be too hard on yourself. Remember that change is a process that happens over time and is rarely immediate. Take the time to map out your goals, but don’t put too much pressure on yourself or indulge in a defeatist attitude.

As we head into evening, the moon moves into Cancer, fostering a reflective mood. This moon placement often makes people extra sensitive, and it can raise your empathy a bit. It will be important to use this energy to replenish your soul and reconnect with your gratitude and belief in yourself. Cancer loves to be cozy at home, making this the perfect evening to nurture yourself for the work that comes next. Get into planning mode!
