There are ups and downs in this roller coaster of a day. You’re following a circuitous path while rewiring your interpersonal connections. The sun in Leo is here to spotlight the ego. Today’s gibbous Scorpio moon enters those realms that many are typically weary of looking at. Many are acting on instinct, which can force others to go back into their proverbial shells.
Unfortunately, with these influences, there is nowhere to hide. There is no choice now but to transcend societal standards and expectations. Those who resist the transformation will only get stung by the Scorpion’s tail.
Fortunately, there’s a compassionate trine between the moon and Mercury in Cancer early this morning to promote psychological growth, but this could get overpowered by the burdensome square between the trickster planet and Mars in impulsive Aries. Actions could be based primarily on people’s opinions rather than the facts.
This is softened by an opposition between Mercury and asteroid Pallas, who brings wise advice to those all who will listen. Even as Venus in Gemini and Neptune in Pisces still learn their value through an aggravating square, there is a calmer rapport beginning to set in.
With any luck at all, we will find a broader perspective today. We are likely to see a significant pullback — allowing time for the past few days’ activities to unwind (or perhaps unravel). This is not to say that activity will actually slow down. There is a tendency to look for ways to work behind the scenes or otherwise quiet the noise enough to undertake an in-depth review of our plans and strategies. The challenge is to stay engaged without the expectation that we can use our feeble will power to control the outcome. The recognition that everyone has a role — a part to play — is extremely powerful here, allowing us to stay detached enough to recognize that we, as individuals, can only play our own part. Our judgments about the roles that others must play are especially ineffectual here.
