I guess I’m more like a comet then. I’m just going to keep on coming back.”

This morning, the moon enters Aquarius and squares Uranus, waking, shaking, and breaking us out of our comfort zone. This is a chance to release and clear space. There are deep insights and revelations coming through, giving you the courage to break free of whatever is holding you back from being uniquely you.

We’re in the dark of the moon, and the new cycle arrives this afternoon as the sun and moon meet in Aquarius. Aquarius energy can be rebellious, but at best this energy is revolutionary, disrupting the stale status quo and ushering in change. What once worked no longer holds true. This is a chance to step out of the established norm and dig deep for what’s true for you.

Where you have Aquarius in your chart, you’re being offered a clean slate and a chance to start over. Work on self-acceptance, then it will be easier to extend this compassion to others in your life. Appearances are deceiving and motivations may be suspect under today’s Aquarius New Moon (1:41 PM PST 4° Aquarius). Changes and shifts happen suddenly in this highly activating atmosphere. It may not be terribly clear how or why things seem to fall into place spontaneously — producing some suspicion that there’s something underhanded taking place. Isolation will only exacerbate our suspicion. This atmosphere is not likely to help us stand independent and apart, no matter how much freedom we think we need. Cooperation and compromise which furthers the greatest good for the greatest number will produce a far more satisfactory outcome.
