 SATURDAY: Saturn is on the same degree and within a few minutes of tomorrow’s completion of the extraordinarily powerful Saturn-Pluto conjunction. The better connected we are with our inner sense of direction and integrity, the more valuable we will be in this environment. Today’s Leo Moon emphasizes our individual will power but the 9 AM square to stationary direct Uranus indicates we may find a great deal of push back for anything approaching bravado or bluster. Later in the day today, the Moon trines Mars, which could produce some self-righteous defensiveness if we feel attacked. The powerful desire to take the initiative and expand our horizons faces inescapable limitations. However, in time the barriers will begin to come apart — but in ways that are likely to be unexpected, rather than orderly. Personal integrity and self-direction are paramount here — as well as compassion and caring for others. On the other hand, self-sufficiency is a trap to be avoided.

SUNDAY: Today’s focus is on recognition, approval, and security. The Saturn-Pluto conjunction in Capricorn completes this morning with the added involvement of the Sun and Ceres. The spiritual gifts that Saturn and Capricorn may offer are not easy to see within this intensely powerful and demanding environment. The Leo Moon stirs up insecure ego demands, which leave many of us vulnerable to flattery and misplaced sympathies. On the other hand, the powerful instinct to conserve and protect is likely to encourage us to keep the doors locked, which may only serve to block any available help to find a safer and more secure situation. Capricorn’s endurance and persistence are notable but in the Capricorn search for power and control we, as mere mortals, may be tempted to believe that we can forget or ignore Divine Universal Power.
