This morning’s Cancer Full Moon (11:21 AM PST 20° Cancer Capricorn) brings the strong sense of initiative to a peak, along with powerful imperatives. We may begin to have some feeling that time’s up — a feeling that is not actually based on the truth of the situation. In fact, we reach the end of the beginning. It is only the prelude that will be wrapping up over the waning of this lunar cycle — then the dance will begin!

Mercury reaches the superior conjunction with the Sun just before Full Moon, helping to sharpen our focus. While we may still be looking for recognition and approval, this Full Moon helps us redirect our efforts in gaining that approval to those who are closest and most important — we’re better equipped to leave superficial naysayers and cynics behind. Uranus turns direct today, creating new cracks in the breakdown of outworn, crystallized structures that must fall apart before a ‘New Order’ can emerge. The Moon goes void-of-course at 3:58 PM PST — take deep breaths.

Expect an unpredictable and life-altering day ahead. Life is changing unequivocally. This morning, the sun and Mercury conjoin in Capricorn, followed by the Cancer full moon and lunar eclipse, and Uranus stations direct in Taurus.

This eclipse officially closes the eclipse cycle and portal we’ve been in for the past two weeks, since the Capricorn new moon and eclipse on December 25, 2019. Look back to see what was unfolding at that time. You’re seeing the first signs of the seeds you planted then starting to sprout.

Since July 2018, the eclipses have brought a total transformation in the areas of life ruled by the Cancer-Capricorn axis. This is the last of this series of eclipses, ushering us into a whole new stage of growth as the nodes move to Gemini-Sagittarius. The eclipses will not return to Cancer-Capricorn for another nine years.

As the moon is overshadowed and reemerges from the shadow, it opposes Mercury, Saturn, and Pluto, followed by the direct station of Uranus. There are major, life-changing, unexpected developments unfolding, and deep truths are coming to the surface. Boundaries are being drawn, walls are coming down, and false facades are crumbling. We can expect shake-ups in government, corporations, and global businesses. Old structures are giving way to a new world order.

On a personal level, pay attention to the areas of your life ruled by Cancer and Capricorn, and note what surfaces. What’s coming to light asks for evolution, emotional maturity, and sensitivity as we navigate this territory. We’re being asked to uproot toxic (perhaps generational) patterns, return to core roots, and rebuild something of substance and integrity.
