The New Moon in Scorpio early this morning has stirred up a lot of energy that’s bubbling just beneath the surface. It may be a bit more difficult to get our messages across without resorting to exceptional tactics to make sure people are hearing you. We may have unrealistic expectations going into this week and we may find that we need to curb some of our more extreme viewpoints. Some restrictions that showed up earlier have diminished only somewhat, and we continue to struggle with clarity and logic. But it’s not a deal-breaker. There are profound, creative insights that guide us in preserving our gems of wisdom until the perfect moment. Creative vision and insight is where we flourish, and is where we are able to find the most precious seeds of Truth and Resolution.

THE WEEK AHEAD: We haven’t quite been able to shake off the distinct feelings of uncertainty that have beleaguered us over the past couple weeks, and the New Moon in Scorpio is amplifying those feelings. The Moon also opposes Uranus, which adds another concealing layer between us and the truth. With a number of celestial bodies gracing the sign of Scorpio now is dredging up things from the past that we’d thought were settled. Apparently not completely. There are lingering issues that require our utmost attention, and we’re urged to pay attention or suffer the consequences. Mercury turns retrograde on Thursday which certainly could lead us to reconsider our position — or at least our strategy and approach. It is important to reflect deeply on the difference between adaptability and resilience. Under this retrograde Mercury, reconsideration of our plans does not really suggest that our overall goals are under review. Rather, it is our approach, our strategy — the plan to get there — may need to be reconsidered. Mercury makes strong connections to Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto during the retrograde period, providing broad inspiration along with important opportunities to learn new ways to achieve our goals. Even more importantly, we have the opportunity to refine our message in ways that help to stabilize and enhance the collaborative alliances that we have been working on over the past few months.
