We feel like we’re engaged in pursuing our own goals specifically today, and the feeling of balance and control we’ve been working hard to achieve falls away. When the Moon arrives in Libra this afternoon, we regain some of that balance and control very much in an “iron fist in a velvet glove” manner that is one of the hallmarks of Libra energy. We may try to keep the barest minimum of protocol today, but most won’t want to bother. Today’s insights will be profound but won’t reconcile with our actual behavior. Keep in mind that we are always being seen and observed by others, especially those who look up to us. Try and keep your behavior in line with your highest ideals and thoughts. Hold yourself to a higher standard today. We may feel like it’s too difficult keeping up our self-awareness, that it’s too much work. In the long run, today’s activity may not cause any apparent damage but the attitudes and approaches that we see may be decidedly unhelpful to ongoing cooperation and produce significant future challenges.

Moon in Libra is comprised of the element Air, and it is a Cardinal sign. It brings our inner-most self to the surface and enacts a nimble diplomacy in which you may feel the need to mediate when issues arise. However, inserting yourself into any situation may be hazardous, as those involved in the core conflict won’t appreciate you butting in. There are two or more sides to every situation, and you’re not getting all the information you need to make a decision, so you might as well save yourself the trouble and walk away. You don’t have to fix everything and everyone no matter how much you “need” to. Libra is an air sign and when it’s inhabiting the Moon, it often leads with the head rather than the heart.
