We begin the day with Moon void-of-course, which will continue until this afternoon. Once it slips into Gemini, the mood lightens and things that might have been vague before will now become much clearer. It then trines both Venus and Mercury and, combined with Saturn now direct, we’ll see a much more sociable, conversational environment that allows us to consider some of the weightier issues of the day. We’ll also feel an increased sense of responsibility. We should be cautious about embellishing or exaggerating the truth just to appease our ego. We may feel like shirking any responsibility that comes to us today, but that would be an unfortunate decision. Anything that we allow to slip past us will come back stronger within a short period of time. So unless you want to deal with bigger issues going forward, you’re advised to heed the call to action.

Moon governs our most inner selves, or our emotional personality. We feel more like socializing, as well as finding that we’re much more chatty than usual with Moon in Gemini. As Greek philosopher Atristophanes said, “Quickly, bring me a beaker of wine, so that I may wet my mind and say something clever.” You’ll have no difficulty coming up with stinging witticisms and double entendres now. You enjoy lively banter and repartee, as long as it remains light and airy and doesn’t get too awfully serious or mundane. On the flip side, decisions vex us as we’re likely to change our minds a number of times before finally growing exasperated and choosing something. Anything. You’ve got places to be and people to meet. You don’t have time to make up your mind. When you think of the energy of the next day or so, think of the fictional White Rabbit from “Alice Through the Looking Glass,” who exclaims, “I’m late, I’m late, for a very important date. No time to say hello, goodbye, I’m late, I’m late, I’m late!”
