Moon swims into Cancer this afternoon (2:05 PM PDT), activating trines to Venus, Mars, and Uranus. In astrology, trine is the favorable astrological aspect of two celestial bodies 120 degrees apart. These aspects spark a marked increase in intellectual activity with a bit of reserved silence to fully defend our thesis, which is likely a good thing. The Moon in its waning cycle gives us very little light to understand our thought processes in the minds of others. This gives us a little spark of hesitation, wondering if we’ve clearly stated our information, or if there’s a better way to gain greater understanding.
Make some mental notes before proceeding, but don’t let this little hiccup stop you. Wait for better information to present itself and then re-state it. Since we’ve learned important lessons in self-worth, self-assurance, and self-esteem, there’s no need to demand that others see things in exactly the same way we do. When we release that need for pleasing someone else, we raise our frequency to a new level instead of lowering it to match the frequency of the one we’re trying to please.

With the Moon in deep and sensitive Cancer, we are loaned a striking depth of feeling and imagination. We’re more responsive with a wariness of rushing into new situations with people we may not know well. Moon is at home in Cancer, a water sign that emphasizes our tidal moods and changing perceptions. There’s also a penchant for warm affection and a sense of nurturing intimacy. Cancer Moon forgives, but never forgets.
