Moon charged into independent, vibrant Aries early this morning bringing an atmosphere of assertiveness (which shouldn’t be confused with aggressiveness). We take the initiative and take action, just like this fiery transit requires. We are at our best when engaged in challenging new experiences, anything that lets us spread our proverbial wings and rise like the mythical phoenix from the flames. Energy is plentiful, revving our creativity to new heights. We may find that we’re unable to go to bed at a decent hour because our minds are working overtime.
Mercury lingers for a short while longer in Cancer, providing one last sensitive push to our day. We’re inclined to share profundities and deep inner feelings. This energy won’t last much longer, so if you’re going to do it, do it now. If you feel something standing in your way, you’re advised to examine blocked emotions that may be holding you back. We want to grow, not stagnate. Don’t fear emotions. They are a natural instinctive state of mind derived from our circumstances, moods, and relationship to others.
Moon sextiles powerful Pluto and moves on to trine fierce Mars later this morning. Save important meetings or calls until this afternoon when Moon trines persuasive Mercury, giving even more intensity to our feelings. Highly Sensitive People (HSPs) will feel this more deeply than most. You are most sensitive to the feelings involved in close relationships with family and partners. If a loved one is in a bad mood then it makes you feel down too. If you feel love and joy then the people around you will feel those same emotions. This is the incredible power of your subconscious. Your emotions are so intense that they can have a profound influence on people and events around you.
This same power applies to other subconscious traits like your intuition, instincts, habits and family bonds. Although sometimes obsessive and compulsive, this is a very positive aspect. Being able to focus narrowly on one topic and deeply probe for answers is a great asset.
