“Why do you go away? So that you can come back. So that you can see the place you came from with new eyes and extra colors. And the people there see you differently, too. Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving.”

Terry Pratchett, A Hat Full of Sky

There’s uncertainty all around us today, and we’re tasked with leaving room for the unexpected. A life that challenges us is better than the mundane, day-after-day predicability we might otherwise experience. In spite of us humans not liking change very much, change is very often necessary to break us out of our ruts and upgrade our thinking and feelings. There’s only one letter difference between “change” and “chance.” Taking chances now is beneficial.

You’ll receive plenty of food for thought as Jupiter squares Neptune, which will ripple outward until Tuesday (in the northern hemisphere), when our wise grandfather, Saturn, guides us back to our journey. In the interim, keep a cool head and don’t panic in the face of perceived chaos. It’s the universe shaking things up a bit to wake us out of our collective stupor. Action may be required from us now. It can be a time of magic and wonder when our inner child gazes in rapt wonder at the newness life can bring to us like a gift.

Later, a trine between changeable Mercury and dreamy Neptune gives us a jolt of more cosmic energy so that we may reflect on how far we’ve come, where we are in the moment, and where we might go next. Share your ideas and visions with trusted friends and family. Your imagination knows no limits other than what you place on it. Nothing in this life is carved into stone. Embrace this energy and grow in its glow.
